Hanna also recently released a new cookbook, The Winemaker Cooks. Watch her talk about her book and how, even though she is a winemaker, the food takes priority when determining food and wine pairings:
“Starting with the food is a really nice place to start first, then the food follows from there,” Hanna says.
Her favorite pairing? Oysters and Sauvignon Blanc. “It’s just delicious – the brininess of a fresh oyster and the crisp grapefruit quality of Savignon Blanc – it’s just delicious.”
